Implants

Implants are more than just the best way to replace teeth.

Nothing looks, feels, or functions more like your natural teeth, and they have the best long-term success of any dental treatment.

They’re ideal for replacing anywhere from one tooth to a full mouth, and depending on exactly what you want, there are great solutions for all budgets:

In our office, every implant treatment begins with a 3-D x-ray (“Cone Beam CT Scan” or “CBCT”) that allows us to plan the exact location of the replacement teeth with precision of less than a millimeter. Because of this level of precision, we can usually replace problem teeth the same day they come out, or replace teeth in one day that have been missing for years. The cutting-edge technology needed for these 3-D scans is rare in dentist’s offices, but we believe in giving our patients the best possible treatment, no matter the cost.

TMJ

The TMJ (or Jaw joint) is often injured in whiplash injuries.

There are many conservative treatments without surgery and should be explored before invasive treatment. The medical term for a combination of jaw joint disorders with head, neck, and facial pain is Temporomandibular Dysfunction (TMD). Commonly known as “TMJ”, this is an area often ignored by physicians, and sadly, one that few dentist know how to treat.

We treat private patients, but most of our pain patients were involved in accidents, so we also treat those covered by:

We use a non-surgical approach to alleviate patients’ head, neck, and jaw discomfort caused by TMJ disorders. Neuromuscular treatments relax the muscles of the head and neck by moving the lower jaw into a stable and restful pattern of movement.  The treatment often begins with an orthotic device that helps align the jaw to a proper relationship, thereby decreasing pain and improving function.

Signs & Symptoms:

  • Face or jaw pain.

  • Jaw clicking, popping or grating.

  • Limited mouth opening or locking

  • Difficulty closing teeth together, swallowing and/or chewing.

  • Headaches, dizziness, and/or balance problems.

  • Neck and/or shoulder pain

Snap-on Dentures

There’s no need to put up any longer with a loose, painful, or unstable denture.

Everyday, we renovate patients’ problem dentures, whether it’s improving the fit, correcting the bite, or designing a better, brighter smile. Studies show that as many as half of all denture patients suffer with dentures that don’t fit or function right.

We recommend implants to all of our denture patients.  Every patient that goes from complete dentures to implant dentures can’t believe the amazing improvement in fit, stability, and ability to chew like they used to. With just two to four implants, we can secure your denture so that you can eat foods like steak, fresh apples, and corn on the cob again.  With implants, upper dentures can be made with the roof of the mouth uncovered, so that you can better feel and taste your food like you used to.

Best of all, once your denture has been implant stabilized, it can always be upgraded.  By adding another few implants over time, you can get rid of your dentures completely, and have fixed, permanent bridges directly on implants that will look, feel, and function like your own, natural teeth

Sleep Apnea Dentistry

We all know someone who snores, so everyone knows it's a major annoyance.

If you share a bed with someone who snores, then you really know just how awful it is to be constantly woken up by that chainsaw sound and gasping for air.

What you may not have known is that snoring is often a warning sign of a life-threatening disease called sleep apnea.  Sleep apnea is when a person that's sleeping stops breathing, sometimes for more than a minute.  If you've ever heard someone who snores suddenly gasp for breath, you're almost certainly witnessing sleep apnea.
